Marin Community Foundation (MCF) partnered with CGNET in Spring 2016 for an IT Assessment engagement. We were looking for an independent expert review of our applications and infrastructure environments as well as of our three-to-five-year roadmap. Mission accomplished, on budget. Their input was instrumental to the development of our Business Continuity / Security Plan, both in content and in securing CEO & COO level support and funding.
The World Food Programme recently awarded CGNET Services International a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) for consulting services, and for security. This award was based on a lengthy and very thorough international competition. The selection was also based on interviews with many CGNET customers. The LTA award is a testament to CGNET’s technical prowess., financial soundness, leadership ability, and reliability.
Before assuming my current position as CIO for the World Food Programme, I was the Chief information Offer of the CGIAR, the largest international agricultural research alliance. The work that CGNET has performed for CGIAR and WFP has been of the highest quality. Projects were delivered on time and within budget.
I have utilized the assistance of CGNET Services International for more than 20 years. They have undertaken multiple consulting assignments, assisted us with the provision of new vendors, helped us prepare RFPs, evaluated RFP responses, implemented new systems, etc. I am currently Director of Technology at the Duke Endowment and the former Director of IT at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. CGNET has consistently provided excellent work and their delivery is in a timely fashion.
Oak contracted with CGNET to inform our thinking about the level of continued investment in our custom built Grant Management System. CGNET has the credibility and relationships amongst foundations that’s allowed them to deliver an insiders view of the future direction of Grant Management solutions amongst peer foundations.
People everywhere who care about the world our children will inherit, people to whom lasting social justice and compassion matter more than making money, have been enriched by the achievements of CGNET and the people and organizations it serves.
CGNET was a pioneer in bringing electronic communication to the international agricultural research community. It provided many of us our introduction to email, and cut years off the period over which the CGIAR community would have experimented with some similar system. It has proven to be the preferred, low-cost provider for a number of services that some of us outside the CG use.
CGNET has contributed great operational benefits and helped establish a positive overall image for CGIAR, by their willingness to go the extra mile and their accumulated understanding of the needs of all elements of our organization.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation engaged CGNET Services International, for a study to assess the overall IT operations of the Foundation, and we were very pleased with the results. Their recommendations have a significant positive impact on the Foundation.
