Download and Install the CGNET Open Mobile Client

This page provides instructions for obtaining the CGNET Open Mobile client, regardless of device platform.  Find the device platform/OS that applies to you and follow the instructions to download and activate the client.

As you will read below, Open Mobile clients for smartphones and tablets are not downloaded here; they are accessed and downloaded via their respective “App Stores.”  The instructions below explain how to activate these clients.

If you need to set up a CGNET TAS account, contact your System Administrator or CGNET.

Windows

Note: The first time you connect to an iPass Network, you will be prompted to enter your Account Credentials (username and password). You will also need to enter “cgnet.com” in the domain field.

Macintosh

Windows Touch/Windows 8 for Tablets

If you are an administrator seeking download information for your organization, contact CGNET.

If you are a user, you will need a Profile ID and a PIN number.  Contact your System Administrator or CGNET (See “Get Help” below) for this information . Then follow these steps:

  1. Download iPass Open Mobile from the Microsoft Store on your Windows 8 device.
  2. Open the app and then tap or click Activate Now.
  3. Enter the Profile ID and PIN (Leave Blank).
