Hold Off on that Windows 10 Update

Facepalm. Nothing like writing a fanboy post about all the ways Windows 10 will help IT administrators, and then reading that Microsoft has halted distribution of the release because the update is… eating users’ files.

For reasons (so far) unknown, some users have reported having their files deleted during the upgrade. Not a particularly user-friendly action. Read about the issue here.

Microsoft will no doubt wrestle this problem to the ground and things can continue from there. But in the mean time… go ahead and wait before upgrading.
